OUR STORY
Bringing together thirteen years of practical sustainability career experience and a background in economics, asset finance and project management to the construction sector. Sustainability LABS applies this skill set to sustainable construction demonstrating an excellent understanding of the built and natural environment.
OUR APPROACH
Working to closely controlled budgets and deadlines, Sustainability LABS understands how to incorporate the sustainability measures that will provide the best spend for clients and will be operationally acceptable during the lifetime of the development. We advise and guide design teams where BREEAM certification is required.

Our BREEAM Advisory Professional (AP) is an individual qualified and accredited by BRE as a specialist in built environment sustainability, environmental design and assessment issues. Our BREEAM AP will be part of your design team and will guide the project's effort to successfully schedule activities, set priorities and negotiate the trade-offs required to achieve a target BREEAM rating when the design is formally assessed.
Sustainability LABS works with your design team to understand the impact of environmental issues in a commercial setting even when formal certification is not required. We promote collaboration and combined effort to adopt proven sustainability standards and best practice. Sustainable development needs to respond to changing legislation and aspirations. By introducing a new perspective, we can help make your development make a positive change.
We act as Site Sustainability Champions, auditing and guiding construction contractors to ensure environmental performance targets are being met and credits achieved. Sustainability LABS work with principal contractors to develop in-house policies and procedures for BREEAM. We provide tender analysis and support to ensure that sustainability targets are fully understood and accurately priced.
